Had a lovely three-night stay where I enjoyed the cozy twin room and the fantastic view from the restaurant, which made every meal special. The sun terrace was a great spot to unwind, and I also appreciated the leisure lounge for some downtime. The bathroom could use a little update, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience – definitely recommend checking it out! 😊

What a stay! The food was simply outstanding, especially the pork terrine and bubble and squeak. both were out of this world. I also loved the cozy room with a balcony overlooking the river. Would definitely return!

A perfect spot for a couple’s retreat
We stayed in the Othello room worked out great. there was a hot tub, a balcony overlooking the river. We enjoyed relaxing outside while watching the wildlife, it was breathtaking.
It wasn’t exactly cheap but worth every penny.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the lovely room with a wonderful roof terrace. The dinner was amazing, and everyone loved the freshly prepared breakfast with plenty of choices. Perfect spot for family bonding with mum!
In my kids’ opinion, a dedicated play area for them would be great.

Great for a couple wanting a cozy escape
The food was unforgettable, especially the black pudding and smoked haddock scotch egg, one of the best starters I’ve ever savored. The view over the river from our room was mesmerizing, like a painting that changes with the light.
It wasn’t cheap, but the experience was still acceptable.

It was just a commendable fit for a flash visit in Ludlow with all in all brilliant value for money. The scotch egg we had was very nice, but the main dishes lacked flavor. If looking for a good meal, consider exploring other local options for a better experience.

The setting of The Charlton Arms is beautiful, with stunning views over the river. I stayed in a Small Double Room and loved the picturesque landscapes I could see from my window. The room was cozy, nicely decorated, and perfect for a one-night stay. The breakfast choices impressed me. they included high-quality ingredients and good variety. the breakfast items ran low quickly, especially the fruit juice and butter, which felt a bit unorganized. I noticed the staff was friendly and attentive, enhancing the experience overall. One downside was the parking situation. it got quite busy, making it possibly inconvenient to find a space at certain times. I didn’t mind the compact bathroom and shower, but I can see that it could be too snug for some guests. The restaurant was good, although there could have been more options for lighter bites or snacks at the bar.
